Be Bold

I’m bold, what about you? Bold is a person showing the ability to take risk, it’s a person with confidence or one who is courageous.

In Hebrews 4:16, it says, Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

The saddest thing in life is to meet someone with the idea that they are on their own. Their successes, their failures, the answers to all life’s problems are up to them alone. This is a trick of the enemy. In Hebrew 4:16, it says that I can come boldly. This lets me know that I may feel like I don’t deserve God’s grace, I may not have prayed in a while, I may not be going to church or reading my word, I may have even caused this trouble or problem on myself. But, He said COME BODLY!

I love that God is not like us or our few fickle friends. God loves us and is always willing to help us, save us and deliver us and most times it’s our own doing.

Today, I say, take it to Lord in prayer! It doesn’t matter how big or small your problem is. Go boldly to the throne to obtain mercy (compassion or forgiveness shown toward an offender) and grace (unmerited divine assistance from God) to help you in your time of need or distress!

Read Psalm 46 (KJV)

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, 3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. 5 God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. 6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts.

7 The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

8 Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. 9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. 10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

11 The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
